While flipping through a homebrewing message board a few weeks ago, I happened upon a link to bottlemark.com.  A website that allowed you to upload your own artwork and design custom bottle caps. The caps are then available for order for $0.12 a piece.

After all, I started kegging so I wouldn't have to bottle any more and let's face it, a barleywine takes some cellar time to become its best.  But since it is "The Year of Beer", what the hell.  I added a little rye to the recipe and used a blend of belgian yeasts so it is a little departure from a traditional barleywine. In early April I started 2 Cascade and 2 Willamette hop rhizomes.  Three poked throught the ground early on with one struggling to make an appearance.
